The SNOUT oil and debris stop can turn any structure with a deep sump into an advanced hydrodynamic stormwater separator. BMP, Inc. was formed to provide low-cost structural Best Management Practice solutions (BMPs) to help with compliance to stormwater quality regulations like EPA NPDES Phase 2. Our SNOUT® stormwater quality improvement system-- with accessories like the Bio-Skirt®, TrashScreen™, stainless steel deflector plates, and our flow restrictor-- are all affordable methods to prevent certain types of water pollution. The SNOUT is also a high performance catch basin hood or trap available in sizes up to 96 inches. It offers reductions in pollutants such as floatables, trash, free oils, and sediment.
